Steve Duchane’s career spans over 32 years of local government management experience and 38 years of public service in Michigan and California. He was Lincoln Park's first City Manager. Steve also held city management positions in Eastpointe, Sterling Heights, Corunna and Howell Michigan and in Marysville California. Today he is a consultant to government executives and an associate professor at Central Michigan University.Duchane serves on the board of directors for the Michigan Suburbs Alliance and has served as a Trustee on the Board of Directors, a Regional Officer and an Employee Relations Committee member at the Michigan Municipal League.
His accolades and accomplishments are lengthy and include receiving the Special Award of Merit from the Mml in 2000 and being named Outstanding Public Official by the Society of Public Administrators in 1990.
